This techo cover features a drawing by printmaker and artist Makoto Matsubayashi, who is based in Kochi Prefecture.

Using crayons with bold, free-flowing strokes, Matsubayashi illustrated a large, blooming flower. The gentle wavering of the hand-drawn lines gives it a soft, inviting charm. The silver base color was chosen to reflect the feel of Matsubayashi’s original artwork, creating a balance of warmth and coolness in this striking cover design.

The cover is made with smooth faux leather and printed with white ink to faithfully capture the spirit of Matsubayashi’s drawing. Even the subtle textures, like the unevenness of the lines, are carefully reproduced to retain the hand-drawn feel of the artwork.

The interior features the same silver color as the cover. On the right-side pocket, you’ll find a single flower printed in white ink.
